0:07 am, that's what my watch showed when I finish the last report of the day. was just going to MSN my girl that wish her have a good night...
"zzz..." my cell phone vibrates.
With one hand lighting up my cig, the other opened the text msg.
"I said everything that I have to say, and everything that I shouldn't have, it's all up to you now..."
"What the...??"
I checked the number and that wasn't any number that I know of. However, the contents of that text seems pretty serious...
"the hell with it..."
I dialed the number with the office phone, in case it was just another con phone call.
"duduuuu...duduuuu..." a man picked up the phone.
"Hi, this is number 0919-xxx-ooo, and I guess you just send your text to the wrong person."
After I repeatedly explain to the guy that this is not the correct number he wish to text, and if it really matters, he should text again to the right person, her (I think) or him, again. I wasn't sure if he gets it, the guy was pretty hammered, and I really wanna keep this conversation as short as possible.
Anyways, I sort my things out, and get ready to the airport, the phone rang.
"Hello, Unicorn Express, and how may I help you?"
Because the nature of my business, I got calls in midnight a lot, time differences and all...
"I know I shouldn't call..." it was the drunk dude.
"Sir?"
"But I just really wanna say...umm..."
"Sir, I think we have a misunderstanding here, I..."
"I love her... I would give up my life for her..."
"Mister... I..."
"Please let her go... I beg of you..." ...
Eventually the guy stop calling, and even I didn't make the call to the drunk dude (but he did call me 3 times.) I still check with the police from the counter fraud hotline, who said the number that I provide was not listed... whatever that means, I still wish everything is ok with that dude and his girl, and even if it's a fraud, please do find a better story to keep me online, and stop calling the victims...unless you find my voice really sexy.
